Elise Catherine Haase was born at 10:52am on Tuesday, February 12th. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Aside from Angie's contractions starting on Sunday, Elise's birth went pretty smoothly and both the baby and Angie are doing very well. Granny Chapman came to town on Monday night so that Marcus would have someone to play with while Mom and Dad were in the hospital.

Elise did cry more than her brother when she made her way into the world, but she also looked around wide-eyed just like he did. Unfortunately, I didn't get any digital pictures of her awake, so you'll have to settle for a bunch of pictures of her sleeping for now!
